Innisfail Show Brims With Exhibits and Heat Hampered Attendees
Crowds crowded the Innisfail show grounds as exhibitors from Malanda and nearby towns displayed cattle poultry and produce while heat cooled attendance. Prizes went to J C McGowan for cane sugar and various local entrants in horses dogs and birds earned ribbons. Despite sparse side shows the event drew hundreds and a dance closed the day with local dignitaries praising the fair’s effort for next year.
