Mining Review Shows 1924 Tin Boom In Herberton District
In Herberton on October 5 a mining review notes a year of price stability and higher ore production. Crushed ore more than doubled from the prior year with tin concentrate yield rising to 719 tons, and the value of crushed ore reaching £103,274. New finds at Marvelous Mines and All On Her Own show promise, while other mines declined. Great Northern Freehold improvements and steady output in Silver Valley districts contribute to optimism for 1925.
