Mossman Show Revived After 50 Years

Mossman Show Brings Record Crowd and Strong Exhibits

The Mossman district hosts a two day agricultural show with about twenty trade exhibits featuring farm and household items, vehicles and machinery. A gala dance drew a large crowd, and officials praised the volunteers for reviving the event and delivering a successful second annual show with permanent district improvements and cane industry trophies won by local growers.

The Mossman and District Chamber of Commerce displayed district growth since 1897 sugar mill opening. Uranium ore exhibits from the Bureau of Mineral Resources drew interest.

Passports Granted to Australian Union Delegates
