The Airns Railway Band held its annual meeting noting financial strain and a record year with receipts higher than prior due to charges and public support. Directors cited generous contributions and community assistance while acknowledging fraud concerns and the need for auditing.
Community notes highlight band efforts led by Bandmaster Henderson and secretary Mr. Henry to relieve overdraft pressures. The year saw concerts, receipts rise, and plans for regional visits, with praise for supporters and a push to fund travel and equipment across clubs and committees.
