Gordonvale boxing show nets profit for North Queensland title
The Sutcliffe theatre in Gordonvale hosted a two night boxing event on May 23 and 24 with a large crowd and a substantial profit. Referee E Coleman and judges A Davies and Martin led the program while D Doherty kept time. Several bouts featured exchanges and decisive wins with Rossetti, Vaines, Josephs, and others earning points or technical knockouts as the crowd roared for schoolboy and amateur matches.
