Our Babinda correspondent reports a string of accidents last week in Meriwinni and surrounding areas. An infant child of Mr and Mrs D McKinson sustained severe burns from hot water, treated by Babinda Ambulance. A man with a sprained ankle received first aid, and a Creek resident named Burnett suffered a severe cut to the foot from broken objects. A Bartle Frere estate resident had both legs crushed by a heavy collapse.
