Fragmentary report covers ore sampling results by Government assayer at Mareeba. Mentions carbonate lime deposit, ore from north end of cut, and improvements in gold-bearing interspersed shale. Describes plant machinery, crushing rate, and a 13th nat milestone. Weather and local station notes appended.
Fragmented OCR text shows a meeting with discussions on a monthly plan, critic notes on a thief remark, references to Mr Ward and a commissioner, and a motion that was concluded or rejected. The readable fragments indicate debate over a debenture and shareholder actions.
An incoherent OCR fragment discusses ore smelting, prewar materials, and quotas. It references General Superintendent of Mt. fault, company undertakings, and several named individuals and prices, but most names are garbled. The text hints at future ore quality and material needs, without a clear narrative or date.
Fragmented OCR text lists names such as Hampden and Walya with bids and fractions like b 1/40 and 9 6 Mt Lyell Block, plus references to committees, Owen, Benen Sl, and Towerp Gas Geldshoroush. The legible items show bids, locations, and personal names without coherent context.
The Cairns Weekly Penny Savings Bank and the Reunited Soldiers and Sailors Association announce upcoming events and meetings. A public gathering at the Cairns branch discusses relief funds, while a paid meeting outlines arbitration talks and local appeals. Also noted are health notices, business ads, and community services for residents.
A letter from Cairns advocates equal treatment for northern children in state education. It condemns limited access to a Cairns high school and urges the creation of a modern junior commercial college, better teacher standards, and a state high school in Cairns to serve the region and its diverse population.
A fragmented OCR item mentions gallons of water and references cities or places in a garbled fashion. It is unclear and yields concise readable facts only about a water related measure and a sequence of mistranscribed names. No coherent narrative or clear events emerge.
