Queenslander Race Scenes On Narrow Channel Course
In a detailed Australian maritime reminiscence the Queenslander vessel battles the Sitana and Ambena in a two out of three race series for a 40 foot cutter. The account notes crew makeup, deck configuration, and the turbulent wind conditions that influenced the outcome, with Queenslander gaining late on the final leg and both crews reflecting on gear and methods used during the contest. The piece records names of boats, crew members, and spectators amid a lively club setting.
