The Oaks Rush Gold Mining Company reports on the site at Mo Liability with details of shaft progress, ore measurements, and ore quality. It notes a 122 feet shaft head trench, ore extraction rates, and plans for operations near March with machinery on track and a winding engine installed for better ore access.

In a Police Court yesterday Harry Gordon was found guilty of creating a disturbance and assaulting Constable Kearney during arrest efforts. The constable testified he stopped a girl named Agnes Wernamey in Shields Street after hearing a disturbance and tried to move her on.
Witnesses describe Gordon resisting arrest, striking a constable, and attempting to throw him to the ground while declaring the arrest target a drunken suspect. McInerney and her daughter intervened, assaulting witnesses. Gordon pleads guilty to assault and hindering the police and disturbance. Court fines of five pounds each, with two months imprisonment in default, and orders concurrent sentences.
