Manager's Report On 17th Season Of Mill Operations

The report notes crushing began August 28, 1912 and ended January 1913 with 0991 tons of cane crushed yielding 5705 tons of sugar. It cites cane quality decline from burning, extended season into January, minor grub damage, fuel shifts to coal, and improvements including a third mill, a closed clarifier, and upgrades to pulp handling and layout. Floods reduced the crop by about 25000 tons but favorable weather later suggests 60000 tons to be treated. crushing planned to start June 18.
