Red Cross Innisfail Branch Monthly Meeting Held

The Innisfail Red Cross Society branch met at the CWA rooms on June 8 to discuss increasing membership and forming divisions for VADs. President Mr Warrellina presided, with Mrs RM Moro signing the annual report detailing 2908 membership and a fund to build a Red Cross Restroom. The meeting approved a flood relief hospital appeal and planned clothing donations for flood victims, with balance reported at £54 16s 6d.

Mirriwinni July 2 Fass en Tennis Club hosted a lively dance with Rick and White orchestra. Winners included Mes Dames Drummitt Gould tying for first and Mr Stokes winning among the men.
