A Cairns Water Power Board is to be formed soon as part of two Legislative Assembly measures. Engineering notes warn the Barron Falls project may require 6000 kilowatts for a viable plant costing about £250,000, with annual interest and depreciation around £25,000. Only a fraction of generated power would be demanded locally, raising questions about the scheme’s economic viability.

Reference to earnings and stock of artificial wreaths and related items appears with a contact note reading Phone 153. The fragmentary item suggests a local business inventory or advertisement listing wreaths and associated goods.
A regional policy outlines moving settlers to North Queensland to build industry on the Tablelands and develop port trade, arguing the north has the capacity to manage schemes similar to New South Wales. It criticizes current government for hindering immigration and warns electors to seek better leadership to unlock the rich country and resources.
