The letter discusses travel routes via Townsville and Lumisfail to Cairns, urging more local cultivation and production to counter high prices. It calls for fair wages, profits sharing, and expansion of industry including a milk supply, butter factory talks, and railway development to boost Innisfail and Johnstone River district commerce.
