Treaty era gratuity policy debated by Hughes and league
In a Sunday session Mr Hughes outlined government plans on gratuities and bond redemption for soldiers, sailors, and dependents. The bill proposes pay at 1/64 day from embarkation to peace signing, with full redemption of outstanding bonds after May 1971.
