Christmas Eve in Stonehill a tale of dun cow and daring
In Stonehill a drought year leaves a decayed dining district tired and hungry during Christmas Week. Miners plot to steal a prized beef cow, led by Dick Naylor and Axel, while folk gather at the schoolhouse for a holiday program. The hunt for the cow ends with a comical misstep as Axel slips and the crew plans a dawn campout, hoping for a fat Christmas feast.
