Edge Hill School Sports Day Picturesque Field Day
On Edge Hill a sunny sports day drew a large turnout of children and families. Prize winners included Kathleen Hughes and the pupils’ class work celebrated by Mr C Jeon Hughes and Miss Doris Edwards as teachers and organizers. The event, touched by wartime reflections, concluded with thanks to supporters who donated cash and goods.
