Wartime kit for officers marching to France detailed
A wartime training note lists packing for an officer’s camp kit for active service. It covers bedding, a field valise, clothing including a light rest coat, boots with sturdy soles, and gear such as a pump, waterproof jacket, and spare items. Emphasis is on practicality and quick readiness for a European campaign.
