In Sydney Central Criminal Court Frederick Ryan 29 is charged with murder in the death of Mrs Lila Waldron 90 at Forbes Hospital on November 6. The defense claims no intent to kill and the accused describes their relationship and finances while claiming he fired only to frighten her. After deliberation the jury returns a verdict of wilful murder and Justice Ferguson imposes a life sentence.
Revenue for November totalled CATLANS, with an increase of £17,173 in revenue for the two months reaching £2,711,005, up £21,274 from last year. Expenditure for November was £508,770, down £18,317, while two month expenditure rose by £165,402 to £31,000, oo.
