Kitty Williams Is Case Dismissed in Cairns Court
The Cairns police court on Tuesday morning discharged Kitty Williams who faced a charge of unlawfully attempting to kill Patrick Foley by firing at him with a revolver. Police evidence showed no bullet marks at her Sachs Street home and she claimed she fired to frighten away two men causing a disturbance. Defense counsel argued no proof of intent to kill and the judge noted possible alternative charges.
