The committee outlined roles for the upcoming show with E G Holmes as dog judge and J J Cran to judge the cattle exhibit. Mr Arnold requested wood chair entries from Babinda and a special prize of £2 8s was approved for the best draught stallion judged by E A Atherton. Malcolm Hodel moved to hire transport costs from Malanda to Cairns for Friday events and Mrs Hill was named scene exhibit judge. The president noted the show grounds are in good order and plans to invite ML A Mr McCormay to officially open the show in Cairns.
