Cane Cutting Dispute Heard At Aloomba Court
Industrial Magistrate A H Scott heard F W Martin cane farmer of Vicomba against A Dehondi ganger of Cane-cutters over eight hours alleged waiting time at 4 6d per day for nine men on July 13 and three hours on July 14 1920. Evidence showed trucks under loaded trashy cane and disputes over stand-over cane trash and loading practices.
