The Edmonton CWA held a monthly meeting at the RSL club room on August 8. Present were president Maldazes W. Brown treasurer M. Hardie vice presidents Mann and Hardwick and others. Apologies were received from members Walker Sugden Major McHardie and Osborn. The general account totaled 12 pounds 12 shillings and the building fund stood at 50. A garden party was planned at Mrs J Clark's residence and the annual meeting will be held there. Nominations for officers for 1954 were taken. Afternoon tea was served.
