Innisfail Court Hears Nuisance Drainage Case
The Innisfail court heard a council case against Leinda Melick owner of land at East Innisfail alleged to bear a nuisance due to stagnant water. The magistrate found nuisance and ordered drainage measures within a month. Council solicitor Mr Wright urged inspection and discussion of remedies. Mr Gallagher for Melick argued delaying inspection.
