Malanda public meetings discuss gymnasium and bowling club
A Malanda School of Arts gathering considered a free grant of 10 pounds with up to 40 pounds subsidy for a gymnasium. A committee was formed, support sought from Eacham Shire Council, and plans for equipment, membership fees, and girl tuition were outlined. A separate bowling club proposal and chamber of commerce discussions followed with several committees named.
