Annual report and committee election at Mareeba club
The report notes Bank balances at the Bank of New South Wales with deposits and war bonds, plus a past year profit. It covers subscriptions, entertainment receipts, and a decline in tents due to Monday night dates. It records library expansions, a prize program, and committee nominations with several officers re elected. A school event near Mareeba features a state school parents day with a military band, stalls, and sports under a capable committee.
