Lengthy rabbit case ends with dismissal and costs
The court dismissed the rabbit destruction charges against Forster after witnesses testified about rabbit work on Forster and O Connor boundaries in 1947 48 and 1949. The magistrate noted rabbits on the property but ordered the defendant to pay costs of £4 045 with 10 days hard labour in default and time to pay.
