From Our Correspondent the Memorial Hall committee met Monday night with eight members present led by chairman T Kelly. The bank debt stood at £25 after a meeting at the Bank of NSW. Hall rentals were revised permitting late-night use until 12 o'clock for £1. The next meeting was scheduled for early February and last Sunday’s married versus single match was postponed due to rain and will be played next Sunday with alternating teams.

Binalong Jockey Club plans March meeting and fee cuts

Death in Burrows Hospital Promptly Noted
Miss Emily Louisa Telford, 46, native of Burrows, died in Burrows District Hospital after a serious illness. She was admitted Monday and died Tuesday. Survived by mother and one brother in Sydney. Funeral held at Church of England Cemetery in Burrows with Rev Ashley-Wilson officiating.
