A large crowd attended Burra’s Red Cross Ball at the Barra Institute on Friday in aid of the POW Fund. Mrs. Pascoe led decorations with Mrs. Young and Mrs. Coverdale. Darrell Field’s Orchestra provided music. a cap dance and supper entertained guests. Takings totaled about £30.
