Hallett Fathers Association Annual Ball Held In August
The Hallett Fathers Association staged its annual ball on August 20. Cold wet weather kept attendance down slightly from the previous year. The hall was attractively decorated with wattle blossom and yellow daisies. Music came from the Catherine Band. Miss Glenda Gare and Mr W Phin won Belle and Beau of the Ball. Mrs Shepherd and Mr Chiney judged. Ladies Auxiliary served supper and dancing continued until 1 am.
