Farewell gathering for Mrs Beaglehole at Mt Bryan Methodist Hall
A large Ladies Guild and Red Cross turnout at Mt Bryan marked Mrs Beaglehole’s farewell. Rev Giles presided, organ solos and competitions filled the afternoon, with gifts from Mrs Phillips and Mrs Goodridge. Mrs Beaglehole recalled her 1914 arrival and thanked all who supported her church work.
