Valedictory Civic Farewell to Mr Pickering

Life policy kept in force despite nine years of no premium
Relatives of late George Herbert Midson of Hobart Tasmania report that his AMP Society life policy for 100 pounds remained in force though premiums stopped after five and a half years. In 1994 he burned the policy thinking it valueless, and late that year he died in an accident.
