At the third Adelaide Wool Sales for the 53/54 season 45 940 bales were offered with strong demand from Continent and Great Britain. Prices rose about 2.5 percent from the prior sale, 112 pence paid to Messrs J Hawker Anam and G G Lines Sons for the top lot and 13 bales sold at around 1334 pence. buyers included Central European and Japanese traders.
