Annual Meeting of Eastern District Fire Fight ing Org

The Eastern District Fire Fighting Organization held its fourth annual meeting at Koomooloo on September 28 with strong attendance. Chairman Rex C Warnes, re elected, chaired proceedings as the committee stayed intact and J L Kerr outlined map reading to aid fire locations. A lecture using army maps promised improved remote area reporting and a tea concluded the event.
