Farewell Social Honors Miss Crowhurst at Ayers School

Burra Benevolent Society Meeting Notes April May

A Burra Benevolent Society meeting at the Burra Institute on April 17 noted attendees led by Rev E Lawson with one visitor Mrs Chambers. Apologies received, wood supply bid approved, gifts from General Aid and donors acknowledged, subscriptions due, and a May 15 meeting recorded with Mayoress Mrs Riggs and Mr J Thomas attending. Old members mourned as some have died or moved away while new arrivals keep wood needs steady. Mr Mark Crowley, hospitalised but hopeful for home, is highlighted. Next meeting set for June 19.

Woollacott Trophy Stage Twenty Fire At Burra Rifle Club
