Mothering Sunday Observed At St Marys Burra

Burrs Jubilee Benevolent Society Reassembles After Loss
The Burrs Jubilee Benevolent Society met in March after a Christmas recess. Four acknowledgments were read for Christmas Cheer recipients, and member Miss G. W. Gare died after a short illness. She joined March 19 1936 and served well. Members mourned, Mr A. H Strong returned from illness, and the group planned the April meeting and thanked Rev. S. H. Dorman for his visits.
