Burra School Yard Accidents Prompt Council Action
A Burra pupil Avis Auhl broke her pelvis in a yard fall and is in hospital. Another pupil suffered bruises and shaking last week. At the Burra Town Council meeting March 15 the mayor urged writing to the Education Department about paving and tarrying the yard. The Local Board of Health condemned the current septic setup, with the Education Department saying Burra must wait for a system.

Burra Cricketers Criticized For Carnival Lack of Support
