Burra Show Annual Meeting Reports 1954 Progress
The Burra Show Annual Meeting reports a successful 1953 54 year with Glorious weather and a well attended show. Officers elected include Philp ride vice president Met E Gare finance committee H Reed M W Bed pall Rex Warnes and others. The late E C Collins and E Murray are noted for service losses. Secretary change to H L Foote praised for improving preparations and the Bagminton Club event raised funds. Overdraft reduced to about £102 as the society plans for next year with stronger local support and improved pavilion seating and tables.
