The Airforce Association held its annual general meeting on February 25 with 32 members. Officers elected: M H Woollamounts president B Gell vice president B R Aldridee secretary T G Secker treasurer W E D Young welfare officer, plus three committee members. The 1944 balance sheet was adopted. negotiations for club rooms are underway. The first annual ball on September 2 1945 raised over 40 pounds, strengthening the branch financially. A December smoke social was well attended. next general meeting will announce plans for 1947.
