Burra Town Council Seeks Memorial Park Plan and Road Sign Change
Burra town council discussed leasing the Institute Lodge Room, changing road signs to Burra from Kooringa, and the Mine Property sale with royalties payable to T. H. Wills after 30/6/47. They debated Victoria Park oval works, fencing, and an avenue of trees to memorialize local soldiers, plus water supply concerns for an enlarged park main. Minor works included bridge approaches, footpath graveling, and pothole repairs.
