The Burra Rifle Club reviewed a year of interclub shoots and trophy wins with Captain Pearce praised for leadership. New captain E G Oates urged continued participation as members accepted trophies, balances, and committee roles amid ongoing drought related strain.

Provis and Pearce praised the close contests and capably handled affairs. Auditors A. Walker and club correspondent H. C. Oates noted several matters for the coming year, after which Clem Pearce hosted a hot and bountiful supper catered by J. Allen.

Liberal Federation Women Branch Holds Farewell Meeting
The Women's Branch of the Liberal Federation met on Friday with Mrs. J. J. Warnes in the chair to farewell Miss Bubb who departs Burra for Sydney.
