The community mourns Mrs A Affolter who died January 7. Born in 1860 at Tanunda she and her husband J Affolter moved through Cavanagh to Booborowie in 1890. She raised seven children while guiding social and patriotic efforts, helped establish a scene of town improvement, and served as supper room supervisor at major functions. Funeral January 4 was well attended with Rev J S LW Coles officiating.
