183 Stone Policeman Too Heavy For Job
An 183 stone London policeman Albert Cooke has been thrown out of the police force for weight. The Stole-On Trent watch committee chair says it is ridiculous for a heavy man to chase thieves at night. Cooke, 23, says he can keep pace with any average man and hopes to be reinstated after weight loss. The Chief Constable will review the case in a month if Cooke reduces his weight.
