Local cricket shield event winds up at Mt Bryan East
A November concert at the Church in Mt Bryan East raised funds for the Mr Bryan East cricket club. The Mokota Shield was presented to the head teacher Mr Yeates to hang in the school room. North Booborowie and Alma were previous holders. The evening featured songs from Eileen and Dorothy Dare, others, and a supper with berries and cream. Students later toured Pt Pirie Smelters, finding the heat challenging but the visit educational.
