Mrs Denton led the past four to five years as secretary with credit for the supper rooms and library. The group has made a final payment to Institute funds and will enjoy a well earned rest. The issue recalls earlier discussion about dangerous night shooting of hares on public roads and a successful strawberry fete fundraiser in aid of the Jen Lennis club with stalls, music, and a dance. Local tennis club results from Saturday list various doubles and singles outcomes and handicaps for men women and mixed entries.
