New Shaw Savill Liner Ordered for Australia Run

The Shaw Savill Line orders a 26500 ton passenger liner for 1939 maiden voyage to Australia. It will be the largest in the Australian trade, carrying 500 to 600 cabin class passengers, about 700 feet long, motor ship with Doxford engines and quadruple screws.
