The evening featured songs and a national anthem sung by Sunday School scholars and parish groups, plus warm welcomes from the Salvation Army Adjutant and the Mayor. The couple expressed appreciation and pledged active church involvement as Burra hosts their term. Supper followed and attendees met the guests.
