Inaugural Bunbury Race Club meeting chaos on course
The Bunbury Race Club held its inaugural meeting with a large crowd and praised arrangements for patrons. A feature sprint saw Lady Capel lead early but Vert closed to force a tight finish, with Paynedale securing victory by a length and Mentone two lengths back. Remaining races included Koombana and Spartolus in hard races, with betting payouts recorded as dividends.
