Bunbury and South-West Bowls Clash in Pennant Opener

The South-West and Bunbury bowling clubs opened the South-West Pennant fixtures on Saturday with a strong showing as forty players competed. In the Pennant match on the South-West green Moore’s rink beat Hands by two, while Brittain led Bunbury to a 40 to 9 win over Joel. Bunbury also dominated the Bunbury green inter-club games, Dermer’s side defeating Baldock 50 to 12. Aggregate rinks favored the South-West 3 points. Bunbury won the Pennant segment by 33. Hands and Brittain entered the State Champion Pairs in Perth after Boxing Day.
