Billing Rules for Telephone Messages and After Hours Service
Accounts are billed semi annually and payments due within 14 days. Messenger charges apply for calls beyond the telegram radius, plus standard telegram porterage. After hours, offices may stay open with a 2s 6d deposit for the first hour and 1s 6d for each additional hour. charges apply per office and must be paid by the caller. Only the payer may transact during extended hours unless others pay the stated fees. Conversations cannot exceed six minutes if someone waits.
