A grand social evening conducted by the Penal Officers' Association occurred at Cobbg Town Hall on Tuesday night. Dancing continued until twelve with a lively crowd including Mr. H al, three Miss Foys, Deputy Governor Mrs. McDonal mariton, and numerous others. The event received praise for cheerful entertainment and well managed catering by Mr and Mrs G Bull.

Brunswic k City Mission Hosts Season of Gospel Events

A May 7 service featured youth competition for a pocket Bible prize. Wordless hymn verses were memorized, with 280 in attendance. A new Shaw estate hall near Lyset and Wiyth streets will host Melbourne City Mission activities including a 400-person hall, classrooms, and gardens.
